MENTOR PROGRAM
The path to become a CCLS can be difficult, but even more so if you do not have an advisor or professional to help you along the way. Captivated By Child Life is now offering a mentoring program
-
Offer advice and clarify pathway to certification
-
Review internship application materials and offer support during the application process
-
Connect with a CCLS
Please review below information to learn more about the program:
This program is staffed by a group of child life specialists whom are actively certified as a child life specialist during their time as a mentor. Due to the often intensive needs that mentees have each mentor is only able to support three mentees at a time.
Applications for mentorship will only be accepted if they give equal to, or greater than, one months advance of internship/practicum application due date. This is to ensure that there is ample time to review a student's materials in a manner appropriate of such a partnership.
To indicate your interest please fill out the form below, forms are reviewed the first Tuesday and Thursday of every month. If there is availability into the program you will be notified. If no spots are available you will be notified and given the option to be placed on a waiting list.

*Mentors cannot write reference letters or act as a reference due to the nature of an online mentor/mentee relationship
